Now skilled people will not lack opportunities and funds for startups: Indian Education Ministry
CGC Landran to host event on 16 January 2025

Chandigarh College of Engineering (CEC) and CGC Landran have been given the opportunity of a special initiative. In which ‘Udyotsav 2025’ program is being organized for startups at CGC Landran on 16 January 2025.
During a press conference at Mohali Press Club today, the directors of CGC Landran told the media that during this program, work will be done for investors and a good opportunity to start a startup will be provided. This event called Udyotsav-2025 is a unique program in which those students with exceptional research will participate, who were once deprived of progress due to lack of funds and their projects died prematurely. This platform will provide a golden opportunity for those who are keen to improve this society through their initiatives and unique inventions. Designed to raise funds for early-stage startups within universities and colleges, it will provide budding entrepreneurs and their startups an opportunity to present their ideas to investment institutions and receive beneficial mentoring, boosting funding.
Out of a total of 13 institutions across the country, CGC Landran has been selected to implement this project in Punjab. ‘Udyotsav 2025’ is a flagship event organized by Startup Punjab by AICTE in collaboration with Innovation Cell of Ministry of Education and Government of Punjab.
It is a matter of great pride for CGC Landran to be nominated to host this event, which is going to launch a startup program to hone the hidden skills across the region. This program will be promoted in collaboration with Ministry of Education, India and Government of Punjab.
On this occasion, Campus Director Dr. P.N. Dr. Rishikesha, Director Research & Development, CGC Landran Dr. Ruchi Singla, Director Principal CEC-CGC Landran Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Director Admin CGC Landran Major H.S. Aulakh and IPR Head IPR Cell CGC Landran Dr. Dinesh Arora etc. were present.
