Mohali: A large number of devotees gathered at Shri Durga Temple in Phase-10 on the auspicious occasion of the first Monday of the holy month of Shravan. Since early morning, devotees have thronged the temple to offer Jalabhishek, perform prayers, and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. The temple premises echoed with devotional fervor throughout the day.

On the occasion, the temple committee organized its third grand and uninterrupted community feast (Bhandara), serving Chole-Puri, Kheer, and Malpua to devotees. Thousands of devotees received the holy prasad with great devotion.

Temple Committee President Rajesh Sharma said that the first Monday of Shravan holds immense religious significance for the worship of Lord Shiva. He added that the committee makes special arrangements every year to ensure the comfort and service of devotees.

General Secretary J.P. Tokhi, Jagmohan Dogra, other committee members and a large number of volunteers were present and rendered selfless service during the Bhandara. The temple priests and a large gathering of devotees also participated in the religious programme and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva.
