A farewell party was organised in the premises of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School Sector 40 -C, Chandigarh under the able guidance of the Principal Mrs. Charanpreet Kaur. The program commenced with the school shabad to seek the blessing of the almighty.Dr Paramjit Singh Ji, Member-in – charge, School Management Committee, Dr. Prabhjot Kaur, Member -in – charge, School Management Committee, Sardar Inderjit Singh Ji, member, School Management Committee graced the event with their benign presence. The host class welcomed the students of 12th class. The students of 12th class rocked the ramp and introduced themselves in their own style.

Mayank of class 11th mesmerized the audience with his unique histrionic performance which took the hearts away. The group song and folk dance were presented by the students. The students were given different titles and tokens of love by the dignitaries. Nametjot Singh and Iknoor Kaur were given the title of Mr. and Ms. S.G.H.S.S.P.S respectively. Nitin and Aryan were chosen for Mr. Debonair and Mannat and Shubhi were chosen for Ms. Elegant.

Rudraksh and Mannat were conferred with the title of Mr.and Ms. Perfect. School bid them a heartfelt good bye. Member – in – Charge Dr. Prabhjot Kaur wished them success in their future endeavours. Member -in -Charge, Dr Paramjit Singh Ji wished the students and inspired them to work hard for the coming journey and project themselves as the ambassador of the school. S. Inderjit Singh ji enthralled the audience with the punjabi song.

The head boy Nametjot delivered a heartful speech with a note of achieving respectable place in the society. The Principal Mrs. Charanpreet Kaur thanked the members of the School Management Committee for their precious time and appreciated the teachers and the students for their tireless efforts. The Departure Delights ended with the cake cutting ceremony and a sumptuous lunch.
