Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh celebrated National Flag Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The celebration aimed to instill love and respect for the National Flag among students. A PowerPoint presentation on the evolution of the Indian National Flag was conducted, highlighting its historical journey, significance and the values it represents.
To make the session more engaging, a questionnaire round was organised, where students enthusiastically participated and showcased their knowledge about the Tricolour. For the junior wing, a National Flag Making Activity was organised.
The young learners displayed their creativity by preparing beautiful National Flags while understanding the importance of the Tiranga as a symbol of unity, freedom and national pride. The Principal, Ms. Shama Kukkal, appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students for making the celebration meaningful.
She encouraged the students to always uphold the dignity of the National Flag and to become responsible citizens committed to the values of unity, integrity and patriotism. The celebration concluded on a patriotic note, inspiring students to cherish and honour the pride of the nation.
