Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School has successfully inaugurated the New Office Block with the blessings of the almighty, marking a remarkable development and transformation process. The opening is orchestrated by S. Inderjeet Singh Nijjer, President Chief Khalsa Diwan, Amritsar and Former Cabinet Minister, Amritsar in the noteworthy presence of S. The program commenced with the path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji to seek blessings, followed by kirtan and ardaas in the hope that this temple of learning will stand erect for many years to come, giving the light of truth and knowledge and thereby fulfill the real purpose of education. S. Dilip Singh Banga, President, Chief Khalsa Diwan welcomed all the dignitaries who spared their precious time to grace the event.
Students mesmerized the audience with their performance on traditional dance ‘Giddha’ which took the hearts away. S.T.P. Singh, Honorary Secretary threw light on the school’s achievements including Academic, Co-curricular, Sports, Divinity, NSS and Music as well as emphasised on the introduction of skill- based education at National and International Level.
The concept of Sikhi and Sikhiya was well explained by him. S. Paramjit Singh, Member In-Charge accentuated Conceptual Learning . S. Gurjot Singh Sawhney, Vice President, appreciated the efforts done by the Chief Khalsa Diwan and motivated us to fly high so as not to count the miles.S.
