Valour Day Celebrated at the Headquarters of the 13th Battalion CRPF Chandigarh: Today, Valour Day was celebrated at the headquarters of the 13th Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), amidst an atmosphere of immense dignity and fervent patriotism.
On this occasion, the proceedings commenced with the offering of floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial, paying a heartfelt homage to the unparalleled courage, selflessness, and sacrifice of the brave martyrs.
As part of the program, a ceremonial salute was presented to Commandant Kamal Sisodia, the Commanding Officer of the 13th Battalion, at the Quarter Guard. Subsequently, during a *Sainik Sammelan* (troop assembly), the Commandant addressed the officers and personnel, highlighting the significance of Valor Day and inspiring all ranks to uphold the highest ideals of duty, discipline, and service to the nation.
On this occasion, special honors were bestowed upon those brave personnel of the Battalion who have been decorated with Police Medals in recognition of their gallantry and exemplary service. Additionally, the morale of other personnel who demonstrated outstanding performance was boosted through the presentation of commendation certificates and awards.
