The meeting was attended by the patron of the front, Bapu Gurcharan Singh, convener Pal Singh France, chief speaker Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, farmer leader Dr. Darshanpal Ji, farmer leader Satnam Singh Behru, farmer leader Gurinder Singh Bhangu, Balwinder Singh Ferozepur, Balwinder Singh Kala, Pal Singh Gharuan, Baljit Singh Bhau, Baljit Singh Khalsa, Paramjit Singh Khalsa, Baba Rajaraj Rashpal Singh Chandigarh, Bibi Rajinder Kaur Sran, Parminder Singh Maloa, Makhan Singh Mansa, Jeet Singh Aulakh, Tajinder Singh Manjinder Singh, Darshan Singh USA, Baljinder Singh Guddu and about 100 representatives including Muslim community leaders participated.
They expressed satisfaction over the successful running of the Morcha in its fourth year. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Modi are not releasing prisoners due to the mentality of being afraid of Punjab and the Panth. In the Morcha meeting, emphasis was placed on the release of prisoners who have completed their sentences as well as the release of political prisoners imprisoned across the country. It was also expressed in the Morcha meeting that the Panth and Punjab have never been defeated by big oppressors.
To mobilize a people’s movement for the acceleration of the Morcha, a march should be held in villages near Mohali and in Punjab. On May 10, prayers should be offered to the youth in every village, especially in the Gurdwaras or Sathas of all towns and cities, for the release of prisoners and for making strict laws for the perpetrators of the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and to celebrate Sankalp Diwas with the youth and the entire Sangat at the village level.
Flag hoisting or marching at the village level for Sankalp Diwas or in whatever form the congregation deems fit. Requested every Granthi Singh to pray daily for the release of prisoners, for strict punishment for the culprits of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. On May 17, on the birth anniversary of Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara Ji, a big gathering will be held at the Morcha venue in Mohali-Chandigarh. In the meeting, Bhagwant Singh Mann and the Home Minister were warned that they are committing a great sin by oppressing and doing injustice to the Panth-Punjab and will have to face the consequences.
