An inaugural ceremony of a Seven Days NSS camp was held at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr.Sec. Public School on 18 January, 2024 under the able leadership of the Principal Mrs.Charanpreet Kaur.The event was flagged by S.Gurjot Singh Sawhney,Vice President, School Management Committee and Member -in -Charge, S.Paramjit Singh in the graceful presence of honorary resource persons and staff members.The camp will go for 7 days from February 18, 2024 to February 24, 2024.
The camp was begun with the School Shabad by the school choir.Dr. Paramjit Singh highlighted the importance of N.S.S. and encouraged the students to fulfill its real objectives. S.Gurjot Singh Sawhney motivated the students to follow the teachings of gurus to eradicate social problems.
On the first day of the camp an awareness program on ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ was held by the trainers of Chandigarh police. The students were also enlightened on the subject of career assessment by ‘Tejas EduSkills’. The students participated with great zeal and exuberance. The Principal Mrs. Charanpreet Kaur appreciated the initiative taken by the N. S.S. Wing.
