Mohali Press Club’s governing body dissolved elections on March 29
Mohali, March 22 (): The annual general body meeting of Mohali Press Club was held today under the chairmanship of club president Sukhdev Singh Patwari. In which about 65 regular members participated. During this meeting, all the members present were informed about the annual activities of the club.
On this occasion, President Sukhdev Singh Patwari unanimously dissolved the current executive and announced he to hold club elections on March 29. In this regard, the club’s cashier Manjit Singh Chana, presented the club’s financial report for the financial year 2024-25. After this, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi gave detailed information about the annual activities of the club and after considering it, the general assembly passed both the reports without any amendment.
On this occasion, the club’s president Sukhdev Singh Patwari announced the dissolution of the current general body and a proposal was passed to hold elections on March 29, 2025 for the establishment of the next governing body. On this occasion Harinderpal Singh Harry was unanimously appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner and to ensure fair elections, Amardeep Singh Saini and Kulwinder Singh Bawa were appointed as Election Commissioners.
Present on the occasion were Governing Body members Senior Vice President Sushil Garcha, Vice Presidents Rajiv Taneja and Vijay Kumar, Joint Secretaries Neelam Thakur and Maya Ram, Organization Secretary Dharam Singh, besides members Senior Journalist Dharampal Upasak and Gurmeet Singh Randhawa, Kulwinder Singh Bawa, Baljit Singh Marwaha, Hardev Chauhan, Jaswinder Rupal, Rajinder Singh Taggar, Mangat Singh Saidpur, Amarjit Singh, Arun Sharma, Neha Verma, Ranjeet Dhaliwal, Dharminder Singla, Vijay Pal Singh, Mahipal Singh Walia, H.S. Bhatti, Harpreet Sodhi, Amardeep Saini, Malkit Singh Saini, Sanjeev Sharma, Rajiv Sachdeva, Kulwant Kotli, Pritpal Singh Sodhi, Anil Kumar Garg, Vijay Pal, Sandeep Bindra, Rakesh Hampal, Ritesh Nahar, Gurjeet Singh Sodhi, Tarlochan Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Anil Kumar Garg, Amarpal Singh Noorpuri, Sagar Pahwa and a large number of members were present.
