Mohali Press Club Governing Body Dissolved Elections on April 5
Mohali, March 31 ( ): The annual general body meeting of Mohali Press Club was held today under the chairmanship of the club president Sukhdev Singh Patwari. In which about 67 regular members participated. During this meeting, all the members present were informed about the annual activities of the club.
On this occasion, President Sukhdev Singh Patwari unanimously announced the dissolution of the current executive and holding of club elections on April 5, 2026. In this regard, the club’s treasurer Rajiv Taneja presented the club’s financial report for the financial year 2025-26. Later, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi gave detailed information about the annual activities of the club.
Considering this, the general body passed both the reports without any amendment and without opposition. On this occasion, the club president Sukhdev Singh Patwari announced the dissolution of the current general body and a resolution was passed to hold elections on 5 April 2026 to establish the next governing body.

On this occasion, Harinder Pal Singh Harry was unanimously entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Election Commissioner and Kulwinder Singh Bawa and Gurmeet Singh Randhawa as Election Commissioners to conduct fair elections.
On this occasion, the members of the governing body were Sr. Vice President Sushil Garcha, Vice Presidents Manjit Singh Chana and Vijay Pal, Joint Secretary Dr. Ravinder Kaur and Vijay Kumar, Organizing Secretary Neelam Thakur, besides members veteran journalists Pal Singh Kansala and Amarjit Singh, Ajaib Aujla, Baljit Singh Marwaha, Gurpreet Singh Niamian, Sukhwinder Singh Manauli, Hardev Chauhan, Rajinder Singh Taggar, Mangat Singh Saidpur, Arun Sharma, Neha Verma, Ranjit Dhaliwal, Gurnam Sagar, Dharminder Singla, Davinder Singh, Harminder Singh Nagpal, Amardeep Saini, Malkit Singh Saini, Rajiv Sachdeva, Kulwant Kotli, Gautam Bansal, Pritpal Singh Sodhi, Vinod Sharma, Anil Kumar Garg, Sandeep Bindra, Rakesh Hampal, Ritish Nahar, Ramesh Sachdeva, D.N.
