    Khuda Alisher and Burail captured Kabaddi Cup

    Chandigarh, 21 November (): Under Federation of Social Welfare Association (38 Wests), 39 and 40, Chandigarh President Dalwinder Singh Saini and Chairman Advocate Amardeep Singh’s leadership and ward councilor Madam Gurbaksh Rawat in collaboration with Ramlila Ground, Sector 40 in collaboration with Madam Gurbaksh Rawat, Sector 40 In the first kabaddi tournament held at A, Khuda Alisher won the All Open Club (Boys). In the kabaddi competition, Budail’s team won the kabaddi cup and 65 kg category. A large number of spectators participated to enjoy the tournament.

    Earlier, the tournament committee took the name of God and started the tournament by offering Prasad after reciting and praying for Shri Anand Sahib by Gurdwara President of Sector 40. The tournament was inaugurated by District Councilor Madame Gurbaksh Rawat cutting the ribbon. During this, UT Police SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal and SAP Mr. Mridul were the chief guests and SHO Madam Police Station 39 took a memorable photographs with the kabaddi teams and participated in the tournament and enjoyed the tournament.

    Khuda Alisher won the competitive match in the kabaddi open category. The first prize of 61000 won while Barnala’s team finished second and won Rs 41000. Similarly, in Kabaddi 65 kg category, the Budail team won the first place and won the award of 21 thousand rupees and one cup, while the runner -up Barhedi team won an amount of Rs 11 thousand. During this time, there was enthusiasm to watch kabaddi matches among sports lovers.

    On this occasion, Virendra Rawat, Jasbir Singh Billa, Rakesh Barotia, B.S. Randhawa, Indrajit Happy, Ramesh Goyal, Daljeet Kner, Gurmeet Singh Rao, Hari Bhushan Sharma, Harbans Singh etc. were present.
