Indo Tibetan Union appointed Manjeet Singh Mohali as General Secretary of Punjab Mohali, August 25 (): A special meeting of Bharat Tibet Sangh, an organization active in India to free India’s neighboring country Tibet from Chinese occupation, was held today at Mohali Press Club. During a simple and effective ceremony here, Dr., in charge of Indo-Tibetan Union (North India). Kuldeep Sharma and National Secretary Mr. Dinesh Jindal were welcomed by the organization of Punjab. After this Dr. On behalf of Kuldeep Sharma and Mr. Dinesh Jindal, Mr. Manjit Singh Mohali was appointed as the General Secretary of the Indo-Tibetan Union, Punjab.

Sharing his views on this occasion, Dr. Kuldeep Sharma said that we have established this organization to liberate the Tibetan people suffering from the atrocities of China. He said that eminent ex-judges, IAS and eminent people representing this organization are playing an active role all over India.

He said that we have started this work rising above partiality and as humanity and the day is not far when we will be able to free Tibet from Chinese occupation with the mutual cooperation of our organization and people. He said that it would directly benefit India, as the only threat from China is from the Tibet border. If Tibet becomes independent, Tibet’s partnership with India will increase and Indian people will be able to visit their religious places in Tibet.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed State General Secretary Manjit Singh said that he will work day and night for the responsibility assigned to him by the Indo-Tibetan Union and raise his voice for the liberation of the people of Tibet.

Apart from the above Makkhan Lal Ballo State President (Punjab), Joginder Singla Vice President Punjab and other leaders and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
