    Dasham Pita Ka Prakash Parv celebrated by Residents Welfare Association Chandigarh

    Dasham Pita Ka Prakash Parv celebrated by Residents Welfare Association Chandigarh:- The Group Committee of Residents Welfare Association, Sector 39D, Chandigarh and the Sangat of the area celebrated the Prakash Parv of Dasam Pita, Sahib e Kamal Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Gobind and the advent of New Year with great devotion and enthusiasm today. Area Councilor Madam Gurbaksh Rawat, President of Residents Welfare Association Dalwinder Singh Saini, Barinder Rawat, Rakesh Barotia and Inderjit Singh Happy were specially present on the occasion.

    Association’s President Gurmeet Singh Rao and General Secretary Davinder Singh Bainipal told that Sangat of the region started recitation of Shri Akhand Path Sahib for three days on the occasion of tenth father’s incarnation festival, which was completed today. Meanwhile, for three days the Sangat chanted the words of the Guru and the sense of service in the Sangat was unique.

    He said that today especially Baba Gulab Singh Chamkaur Sahib’s Jatha connected Sangat with Shabad Guru through Guru Jas. Meanwhile, he informed the Sangat about the Prakash Parv of Guru Sahib and the history of family separation and martyrdom. This was followed by recitation of Anand Sahib and prayers.

    In the end, Prasad was given to the group Sangat and Granthi Singh Gurvinder Singh blessed the entire Sangat through the blessed Hukamnama of Guru Sahib and appreciated the upliftment and service spirit of the Residents Welfare Association and the Sangat of the area. Guru ka langar was served during this.

    On this occasion, the association organized a Dastaarbandhi competition for children of different age groups, the winners of which were given prizes.
