In compliance with the guidelines of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development Chandigarh Administration, NSS Wing and Legal Literacy Club of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School Sec 40-C Chandigarh is celebrating National Girl Child Day (19th to 24th January) in its premises under the able guidance of the Principal Ms. Charanpreet Kaur.

An array of activities for the week long celebrations to promote women and child welfare will be conducted. An Oath taking Ceremony to abstain from female foeticide and any gender based discrimination was administered to students, teachers and non-teaching staff on 18th January 2023.The Principal also encouraged the students to spread awareness amongst all for the cause
