    By the All-Union International Poet Court Toronto:- On the arrival of the New Year, a special event was organized by the All-Union International Poets Darbar at Ramgariya Bhavan.

    While this event was full in terms of attendance, it also set new standards through serious discussion and presented works. With this event, the organization has completed its four-year journey and entered the fifth year with great success. In the first session of the event, the scholars present discussed the performance of active literary institutions in Brampton.

    Prof. Jagir Singh Kahlon said that we should leave our ambitions and egos and hold joint events. Prof. Talvinder Mand was of the opinion that serious consideration is being given to this but there is no possibility of the institutions coming together in the near future. Dr. Maluk Singh Kahlon was of the opinion that a committee should be formed with representatives of all organizations.

    Speaking about his contribution to the improvement of the literature in Canada during the last five decades, Sukhinder, the editor of Samwad, said that all organizations should hold a joint conference in a year in which the participation of writers residing in Canada should be ensured. The organizer of the event, Hardyal Singh Jheeta, thanked the scholars for these constructive suggestions and said that our organization will make a sincere effort to follow these suggestions.

    In the second session of the event, there was a poet’s court of poets present. In this period, poems related to the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh and related to human governments were shared. In this poet’s court, Prof. Jagir Singh Kahlon, Prof. Talwinder Mand, Dr. Maluk Singh Kahlon, Iqbal Brar, Surjit, Kuldeep Deep, Ranjit Kaur Toronto, Shair Malwinder, Maqsood Chaudhary, Nabila Mir, Mita Khanna, Sunderpal Rajasansi, Punjab Singh Kahlon, Hardyal Singh Jheeta, Balwinder Singh Gill, Hardev Chauhan, Harjinder Singh Bhasin, Dilbagh Singh Bamrah, Karamjit Kalsi, Mahinder Pratap, Nirmal Kaur Soi Sibar etc.

    shared their works with the audience. In this event, the Coordinator of the International Literary Association, Raminder Walia, Savinder Singh Kalsi, Sukhwinder Jhita, Amandeep Jhita, Harman Jhita, Jaswinder Sahmi, Prabhdyal Singh Khanna, Amandeep Kaur, Karamjit Kalsi, Sarabjit Kahlon, Simar Pratap, Gurmeet Kudwal, Jitender Kaur Randhawa, Surjit Singh Khalsa, Beant Kaur, Atinder Singh, Berlin Kaur, Arshveer Singh Sekhon, Jagdeep Singh Rihal, Harpreet Rihal, Jaspreet Rihal etc.

    In the end, Pyara Singh Kudowal thanked the entire team of the organization for this successful event and also mentioned the problems faced for such events. Kudowal especially thanked the founder, organizer and moderator Hardyal Singh Jheeta for his sincerity, hard work and dedication. Done. President Gurcharan Singh Tanda thanked the present literati and audience.

    At the end of this annual event, a special dinner was arranged for the friends present. This dinner was organized by Kariya & Bita Builders and Riehl Group of Company.
