An incident that has torn apart relationships has come to light in Kharar city of Mohali, in which a 78-year-old mother, who is the owner of crores, has made serious allegations against her only son. It is alleged that the son threw her out of the house with the intention of grabbing the property, due to which the mother is now forced to wander from door to door. Despite the mother going to the government for justice, no one is ready to listen to her.

Today, during a press conference at the Mohali Press Club, the victim woman, Mrs. Paramjit Kaur Grewal, husband former senior officer late Charanjit Singh Grewal, while narrating her pain, said that we educated our son and made him an engineer and by selling our property worth crores of rupees, we opened a private school in Kharar itself and made him stand on his feet.

She told that after the death of my husband, I and my son Simranpreet Singh Grewal were the owners of 50-50 percent of the family property. Whereas my son Simranpreet Singh Grewal was constantly harassing me for the last 10-12 years to transfer all the property in his name. When I did not transfer the property in his name, he forced me to sign on the pretext of upgrading the school and got my share of the property leased for 30 years, on paying fifty thousand rupees annual rent, and both husband and wife became the owners themselves. She told that after this, she went abroad to meet her daughter, when she returned, the security guard standing in front of the house did not let her enter the house on the instructions of my son. Even the locks of the house were changed.

When Paramjit Kaur Grewal’s son Simranpreet Singh Grewal was talked to, he told his side and said that the mother left the house on her own will, because her only sister has illegal interference in their family, due to which there is a rift in the relationship. Accusing his sister, he said that she has already usurped 10 acres of agricultural land in Begowal village and a flat in Chandigarh by getting his mother’s rights in her favour and now she has her eyes set on usurping our residential house and school. He clearly said that neither has she thrown her mother out of the house nor has she stopped her from entering the house. They can come home whenever they want but they have stopped their sister from entering the house.
