Mohali 19 May ( ). Shri Shani Jayanti celebrations were celebrated with great pomp and devotion on Friday at Bhagwan Parshuram Temple and Dharamshala and Shani Dham (near Mohali Railway Station) located in Industrial Area Phase-9. On this occasion, the entire team of Pradhan VK Vaid, the entire team of Mahila Mandal Sankirtan Pradhan Madam Hema Gairola, dignitaries from far and wide and a large number of devotees were present.

In this regard, Lord Shri Parshuram Temple and Dharamshala and Head of Brahmin Sabha and Retired SP VK Vaid said that this ceremony was organized by Sunil Bansal, owner and MD of KFT Company and famous social worker Abha Bansal. It was done with great devotion. The program ran from 9 am to 2 pm. During this, the devotees who arrived in large numbers enjoyed the bhajans of Rajesh Raja Bhajan Group and famous social worker Madam Abha Bansal and were forced to dance. After this, Madam Abha Bansal presented such devotional songs one after the other in front of the devotees that the entire temple complex was immersed in the ocean of devotion and the devotees became ecstatic. During this, office bearers of various temple committees, Mahila Mandal office bearers and other dignitaries were honored.
Shri V:K Vaid said that on the occasion of Shani Jayanti, Havan was performed in the temple premises at 9.30 am, Purnahuti at 10.30 am and then Maha Telabhishek.

Apart from this, Kirtan was performed by Mahila Mandal under the leadership of Mrs. Hema Gairola, President of Mahila Mandal from 11 am, followed by Bhajan program and Atut Bhandara was organized from 1:30 pm, which continued till Lord Ichchha. Mr. Vaid told that this is the first Shani Jayanti after the Bansal family made Shani Dham in February 2023, which was celebrated with great pomp and devotion. He told that social worker Madam Abha Bansal and her husband Sunil Bansal are counted among the exclusive devotees of Lord Shani.

Apart from this, he is also known for actively participating in all kinds of social service and helping the needy. He told that every Saturday after mass aarti in the Shani Dham premises, a huge bhandara is organized by the Bansal family, in which hundreds of devotees receive the prasad. Shri Vaid told that Sunil Bansal’s father Sohan Lal Agarwal, who had come from New Zealand, was specially present on this occasion.
