Former police officers support employee struggle
SAS Nagar, September 7 ( ) A special meeting of the Punjab Police Pensioners Welfare Association District Mohali unit was held under the chairmanship of District President and State General Secretary Mahinder Singh Inspector Retd. at the District Office Police Station Phase 11 Complex. A large number of retired employees and officers of the police department from across the district participated in the meeting. said that in this special meeting, the ongoing struggle of employees and pensioners was discussed in detail. The members present in the meeting decided to give full support to the national struggle of employees and pensioners and said that their association will play a leading role in various struggles prepared by the platform. Appealing to the Punjab government, it said that the government should abandon the policy of confrontation with the employees and pensioners and adopt a constructive mindset because if the government does not resolve the legitimate demands of the employees and pensioners, then in the coming time the employees and pensioners will be forced to struggle.
The meeting was also addressed by former district president Harbans Singh Riar DSP Ret. and state vice president Paramjit Singh Malakpur Inspector Ret., Joban Singh DSP Ret. and said that the government should understand the feelings of the employees because the Punjab government came into existence due to the efforts made by the employees and pensioners.
Therefore, the government should remember the promise made before the elections and fulfill the demands. In the meeting, besides others, Sukhram Singh, Satinder Kumar, Sohan Singh Sandhu, all DSP Ret.
